Swipe or WASD for move.
Loads slow.

This is a project made in 2019 for the launch of the ASICS Gel-Kayano 360 at Sivasdescalzo SVD shop in Barcelona.
-
It was conceived in 4 weeks by Pau Magrané, alongside the production of a showcase for the boutique, promotional videos, interviews and other nuances required by the comercial department from those brands.
The idea behind all, was to create a 3D FPS game in one format that worked for all platforms: cell-phone, computer downloadable and web-based. Due to this crazy idea from SVD comercial department we opted for Swipe in a Tindergram fashion. That was made in order to control the camera/movement.
On the first week it was stated that the game had to bring forward an Y2K aesthetic and just one stage, but later on, comercial department decided to add 5 different worlds/stages with the japanese culture reflected upon, plus it had to contain a collectable mechanic with Y2K inspired objects ("inspired", so they don't infringe copyright law).
Due to the extension of the game and the expected playability on limited capacity software devices, almost every 3D object was kept at a lowpoly definition and just used difuse texture alongside a few ones with transparency.
-
All the game was conceived using Playcanvas, 3DS Max, Adobe Photoshop and Renoise.
Art, animation and music on the game was made by Pau Magrané except a few meshes in the scenario 2 and 5 that have been bought here and there.
Programming was made by Leonidas Maliokas and controls were made by Steven Yau.
Gigantic thank you to Daniel Levy for the trust (missed working hand to hand) and Ariadna Parreu + Cristian Herrera for the help configuring the showcase at the shop.

A real experience of individual crunch time :_)

Note that a few promotional textures have been excluded from the original game due to itch.io html5 game files limit (1000).
